Mark your calendars 📍 We’re bringing our famed, seldom witnessed NOODLE LUGE to a Punk Rock Kiddo Matinee! This free, kid friendly concert will take place at the Cherry Sprout park on N. Albina between Alberta and Killingsworth with two awesome punk outfits, Mr. Wrong Band and Ex Kids. This is our actual dream come true. Bands chosen and poster design by Alex of Mississippi Records’ daughter Lucy.

The Noodle Luge is our take on a Japanese summer pastime called nagashi somen. We have a narrow bamboo flume and we send noodles shooting down for participants to try to catch with chopsticks as they flow past. (Not sure what we mean? Check out pictures here.) Hot Mama Salsa is going to make sauce, Cherry Sprout Produce will have all your snacking and popsicle needs, and we’ll be serving up samples of whatever you can catch as the noodle tumble down the waterslide. If you don’t come, you’re crazy!
